New Location Hopeful.

Scene One- Horse riding

We have decided to try and film scene one at Caistor Equestrian Centre because it is indoors, so there will be no issues due to the weather. 

Final Draft Of Story Board.

The first shot is an establishing shot of a field and this will be filmed with a zoom out.

This shot will be taken from the front of the horse yet the rider will not be shown. This will create enigma towards who is riding the horse.

This shot will be of the side of the horse but this will not be showing the character riding the horse. (Non-diegetic, classic music)

This is followed by a a shot showing the rear end of the horse being rode this continues the enigma through out the first scene.

Close up on Elizabeth's mouth, as she smokes.

Long/mid shot of Elizabeth smoking, as narration starts.

Elizabeth walking down a street. This is a long shot. the narration continues as up beat music starts.











Close up on her feet as she walks, music/narration continues.

Mid shot of her knocking on a door, she enters and as the door closes the film title appears.

Long shot of a gang, including the main character walking down a street/ close up on feet.

Gang with main character comes across another under a lamp post (for light as it is quite dark.). This is a long, angled shot.

Close up/ freeze frame on character as there is a narration. The characters name appears in shot.

Fight continues, this is a combination of long, mid and close ups.

Shooting Schedule.

This is our shooting schedule for the next few weeks, to structure how we will create our film opening.

Progress Update One.

On Sunday, 24th November, we attempted to film scene one, however the field that we were going to film at was flooded due to the weather so we were unable to film. We are hopefully filming scenes two and three this weekend or during next week.

Costume.

Scene Three- Friends walking and fight. 

In this scene the costumes for every character in shot will be very similar to the costume selection in scene two. This includes high tops, hooded jumpers and tracksuits. 

Location.

Scene Three- Friends walking and fight.

In this scene the location will be a park. It is quite a rough area, so it fits well within the stereotypical setting of where working class people live. This is also where the fight will take place, introducing the other main characters. 

Costume.

Scene Two- Walking and knocking on door.

In this scene, the main character has changed from riding gear, to a tracksuit  She now comes across as a 'chav' or a working class teenager. This shows the audience that she leads a double life.

Location.

Scene Two- Walking and knocking on door.

In this scene, the main character will be walking up a road, then knocking on a front door of a house. This is where this scene will take play. We have chosen this location because we preferred to film a small street rather than a busy one with lots of traffic and people. 

Costume.

Scene One- Horse riding. 

In the first scene, the main character will be wearing horse gear. This will include, jodhpurs, a riding hat, shirt, boots etc. This is because she will be riding a horse.

Film Opening Script.

 EXT.FIELD.DAY.

ELIZABETH is riding a horse around a field. Her MOTHER is watching her ride.

MOTHER

Elizabeth, Elizabeth, darling posture!

ELIZABETH gets off the horse.

MOTHER

You did good today Elizabeth.

ELIZABETH

I did, didn't I?

Her MOTHER goes back indoors. ELIZABETH then walks and then leans onto a fence. She lights a cigarette, with a natural, stern look on her face. 

ELIZABETH

See i am a good girl. In fact, I'm everything a well bought up girl should be... I just like to f*ck sh*t up.

EXT.STREET.EVENING.

ELIZABETH is walking down a street, in a pair of track suite bottoms. There is a non-diegetic narration, in the voice of ELIZABETH.

ELIZABETH

Oh, I'm Elizabeth by the way, but the f*cked up crew I call friends call me Lizzie. 

ELIZABETH walks to a door, and goes through. 

EXT.STREET.EVENING.

ELIZABETH and a group of people are in a fight. There is a lot of shouting and fighting. The non-diegetic narration continues.

ELIZABETH

Here's Stella, well Stompa Stella. You'll see why. 

STELLA stomps on someones ribs, they are lying on the floor. 

ELIZABETH

Ow! That's my girl! This is Jodie, she's, erm, good with her hands.

JODIE slaps a girl across the face.

ELIZABETH

And of course, Our Becky, she's brutal! A gob like my arse on the morning after a Vindaloo; a terrible pain and spitting out sh*t. Its not nice.

BECKY is shouting in someones face. Then a shot shows of the whole fight.

First Draft Of Story Board.

This is the first draft of our story board for our film opening.

This shows that the titles, including production team etc will be shown here. 

In this scene, it shows that there will be an establishing shot of a field, including a panning shot. There will be non-diegetic, classic music playing. 

 In this scene there it will show someone riding a horse, this will have a varied amount of different shots, including close ups and long shots. There will be non-diegetic, classic music playing. 

 In this shot, it will show a girl lent against a fence, there will be a non-diegetic narration, introducing the character. 

 In this shot there will be a close up of someones feet, as they are walking down a street. The non-diegetic music has now become more up beat.

 In this shot, there is a long shot of the main character walking down the street, the narration continues  with the up beat music underneath. 

 In this shot, the main character is knocking on a door. This will be an over the shoulder shot, the narration will continue.

In this shot, as the door shuts, the name of the film will be shown on the door. This is a close up shot. 

 In this shot, we see four girls, including the main character walking down a street. There is a continuous up beat music and narration.

In this shot, there is a close up of the characters feet, walking.

 In this, and the next following shots, the other main characters are introduced by a narration, there is deigetic sounds of fighting and shouting, as this is a fight scene. This is a hand held shot, including mid shots and close ups.

 In this shot, this is where the character 'STELLA' is introduced. this is a long shot, their name comes across the screen including the actors name. 

 In this shot, this is where the character 'BECKY' is introduced. The narration is still continued and the character and actors name appears on screen.

In this shot, the character 'JODIE' is introduced. There is a narration and the characters name and actors name comes on screen.

In the last shot that we came up with is the introduction of the last main character, in a similar way as the past 3 shots, with the names of actors and characters on screen as text.
