Pitching Our Ideas.

The basic concept of our first film opening idea - The main character is riding a horse while non-diegetic, classical music is playing. She gets off, leans against a fence and lights up a cigarette. Non- diegetic narration starts, the scene changes to her walking down a street, the narration is continuing, introducing the other main characters as a fight scene begins, 'freeze framing' on each character as she talks about them.
Location, props and actor ideas- Location- a large field, a rough estate (for example S.t Giles, Lincoln). Props- cigarette, horse. Actors- Main character: Elizabeth (Liz), played by Bille Blake.
Other characters- Stella- Gemma Green. Jodie- Jade Clarke. Becky- Jess Hordon. Tiffany (Tiff) - Megan Johnson.
Enigma- Who is Elizabeth? Why does she like to rebel?
Target Audience- Females and males, 16-25, middle/working class.

The basic concept of our second film opening idea-  This is similar to the first idea that we had, where it basically shows the true environment that a working class teenagers live in. It shows the impact on the main characters two different lives. However we preferred the first idea, so we have not continued with this idea.

Target Audience- Females and males, 16-25, middle/working class.

Feedback- Our class, agreeing with us, preferred the fist idea, as it seemed more interesting ad provided an audience with plenty enigma. They also said that if the fight scene is not done properly, it will not look as effective.
